Goodnight, Philly.

I made it to Philly today in time to hang with some coworkers, eat a delicious grilled cheese sandwich & some cookies in Reading Terminal Market, then swing by the WordCamp US dinner tonight to kick things off. And what I’ve seen of Philly so far is great. I hope I can find time to do swing by a few of the touristy spots while I’m here. My day at WCUSΒ starts bright & early tomorrow. I’ll beΒ on the tweets (@WordCampUS & #wcus) and it’s going to be a great day! But first, I need to sleep… since I have to be up in less than six hours.

Philadelphia Bound!

I have to leave my house just after 6am tomorrow to get to the airport in time for my flight to Philly. It’ll be my first time in the city and also my first time at WordCamp US! (It’s technically everyone’s first, since it’s the inaugural one, but still. I’ve only ever been to WordCamp in DFW so far.) I’m volunteering at WCUS and will be the person behind the tweets (see: @WordCampUS & #wcus) & some other cool stuff I’ll mention later. πŸ˜‰ If you’ll be there, say hi! (You can still grab a ticket!) Or if you’re not nearby, check out the livestream. It’s going to be a great weekend! And I hope I get to see some of Philly while I’m there too! πŸ˜€
