Life Advice: You’re Ready Now

It’s a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you’re ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There’s almost no such thing as ready. There’s only now. And you may as well do it now.

This advice from Hugh Laurie is the type of thing I like to be reminded of occasionally, so I thought I’d remind you too. Do the things you dream of, say the words you imagine, and be the person you aim to be. And if you need a little more to inspire you, here.

Quote from Hugh Laurie sings the blues (Time Out).

  1. This is great advice. And begs the question, are we ever really ready? I agree there’s no such thing as ready. Starting a blog for example, for me, wasn’t a question of being “ready.” I just had to take the plunge and try it.
